More 48++ Gas Fireplace Fan Not Working. Some gas fireplace inserts are equipped with a blower motor to direct warm air into the room. I worked on a natural gas fireplace, last year. The ho kept insisting that i had to i have two wall switches for the fp, one for on/off, one for fan on/off(i leave it on always). I have a gas fireplace at home that i haven't used in a couple of years.
